About Us

Kultur Cine Club is a not-for-profit film exhibition organisation part of the Macunicate Group. Founded in Leeds (UK) in October 2006, Kultur delivers its own events and offer programming and consultancy services for arts and cultural events, film festivals and cinemas in the UK and worldwide.

We offer platforms for the exhibition of the best UK and international short films and documentaries, where audiences are invited to engage, be challenged and inspired. We hunt down great films that we hope will bring our audiences a new viewing experience and will help to alter their perceptions. Kultur is currently selecting the most innovative work to add to its catalogue. In particular, we have been looking for films that still need a bit more exposure to reach new markets. Kultur passionately believes in the power of culture and communication and our main aim is to develop a wider audience for independent films on a national and international level. We truly believe on our motto “...because the world is closer than you think” and will work hard to make films more accessible to different audiences worldwide.
