Ahlaam UK Premier and Human Film Oscar launch party
Kultur would like to let you know that Mohamed Al-Daradji's directorial debut, Ahlaam (Dreams, 2006), will have its long-awaited UK premiere at the Leeds International Film Festival 2006. The film will be screened as part of the Golden Owl Awards and the UK Film Week programmes and it will take place on Friday November 3, 2006 at Hyde Park Cinema at 6:30pm.
The UK premiere will be followed by the launch party of his production company, Human Film, at The Reform bar (12-14 Merrion Street, Leeds, LS1 6PQ). Human Film would love it if you could join them to celebrate the amazing news that Ahlaam has been chosen for consideration to represent Iraq at the Academy Awards 2007. Just to show you how much they want you there, they will welcome you with a lovely Champagne Bellini and some Eastern delicacies. If you could RSVP (rsvp@humanfilm.co.uk) as soon as possible, it would be greatly appreciated.
