KULTUR SHOWCASE: IRANIAN CINEMA | KULTUR SHOWCASE: LATIN AMERICAN CINEMA
Kultur Cine Club will be presenting 2 showcases at the 13th Bite the Mango Film Festival: Iranian Cinema and Latin American Cinema, sponsored by Leeds Metropolitan University. The showcases will count with an exciting mix of features, shorts and documentaries and introductory talks by industry professionals and film academics.
Hosted at the National Media Museum (UK), Bite the Mango will again be bringing audiences an impressive collection of the very best cinema from around the world drawing influences from Africa, South Asia, Central America and the Far East. *KULTUR CINE CLUB: SEASON THREE (Dates T.B.C)
Season Two: Perspectives is now over! We'd like to thank very much everyone involved and all our lovely audiences for making it the huge success it was.
Kultur is currently working with new ventures and exciting changes are definitely coming our way. We're currently working on Season Three, which may run from Nov 07 to Feb 08 at the HiFi Club (dates are yet to be confirmed). Watch out this space, as we will be posting details very soon.
The season is set to be bigger and better, with more exciting films from Britain and around the world. We're still unable to disclose our headliners but we can say that negotiations with a major distributor is going really well. Kultur Cine Club will be showcasing a 90 minute programme for the AZA Short Film Festival (Greece) in October 2007. The festival was created especially for arts, cinema students & young people and its aims are to discover and promote new and established talent. The festival is supported by the Greek Cinema Museum, the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Greek State Television Station ERT3. Please click here for further information. |
