Situation Leeds 2007

Situation Leeds 2007 & Kultur

East Street Arts, in collaboration with Ana Santos’ Kultur Cine Club present…

Join us for a screening of films that explore social activity and reaction in the face of political and economic inequality and exploitation, both in our own backyards and within the larger global community. A series of feature length short films touch on the idea of ‘micro utopias’ across different cultures to escape the harsh realities of everyday life.

Film Night is part of Social Club, a project hosted by East Street Arts (ESA), collaborators, artists and audiences for Situation Leeds 2007. A series of private engagements and public gatherings looks to foster conversation, critique, and celebration. Social Club opens its doors to artists, spectators and participants alike. Visit www.esaweb.org.uk for more details and updates.

All are welcome, £3.50/£2.50 at the door. Open bar. Snacks served in exchange for commentary and debate. For more information call 0113 248 0040 or email lara.eggleton@esaweb.org.uk.
